Faith Legacy Series guitars are truly professional instruments based entirely upon Patrick James Eggle's historic acoustic body designs. The Legacy FG1 Earth is an elegant guitar that is a pleasure to hold and play, made with fine tonewoods, a bone nut and saddle for increased resonance, a superb pickup system with both transducer pickup and an internal microphone, and an upgraded case too.

Faith Eclipse series use the same Solid Spruce and Solid Mahogany as the natural series, but are finished in gloss black. This black lacquered finish helps produce a rich yet more linear tone ideal for reliable stage work. Faith Eclipse guitars are bound with Solid Flamed Maple and feature Macassan Ebony fingerboards, headplates, heelplates, bridges and bridge pins. This Faith Guitar is fitted with the refined, low-profile Fishman INK3 preamp system with the Sonicore piezo pickup located under the saddle. The preamp features a chromatic tuner, 3 band EQ and volume control. The FVHG was one of the very first Faith guitars we made back in 2003/4 and since its creation, this all-round beauty has consistently been in the top 5 bestsellers, winning several awards along the way in its former guise. In 2021 we changed the rosewood back from a 2-piece to a 3-piece construction. Not only does this design look stunning, especially when bound in flamed maple, but it also allows our luthiers to use smaller sections of wood, many of which would have otherwise gone to waste. This means that more of each tree can be used and fewer need to be cut down in the managed rosewood plantations, and that’s no bad thing.

The Faith Mercury Blue Moon is a stunning instrument. Designed as a ‘Parlour guitar’ (or Parlor for our US friends) and intended historically to be kept within easy reach in the living area of the house, the body needed to be smaller and more manageable than regular guitar shapes of the day.

Sunbursts, Tobacco Bursts, or graduated colour-finishes have a history that dates to the violin makers of the 17th and 18th centuries, but it was in the early 20th century that the technique began to be applied to acoustic guitars. Over the years, the image of the soul-searching songwriter wrestling with their inner demons whilst playing a sunburst acoustic has been burnt into our collective minds.
