The Hidersine Piacenza 15" Viola outfit brings hand-carved craftsmanship and a warm, responsive tone to advancing students and smaller adults. Built with a solid straight-grained spruce top and solid flamed maple back, ribs, neck and scroll, the Piacenza balances clarity and depth while improving with age as the tonewood opens up. Fitted with genuine ebony fingerboard, pegs and chin rest, a seasoned maple bridge and integral fine tuners, it arrives set up and ‘ready to play’ from the UK workshop. The outfit includes a shockproof oblong case, a half-mounted Bulletwood bow with an ebony frog and a block of Hidersine rosin — everything needed to begin playing.
